From March 27 to 30, 2007 the Eurasian Patent Office took part in the 10 th Moscow International Salon "Archimedes" which was held in Moscow in the Cultural-Exhibition Centre "Sokolniki". In its opening address the EAPO President A. Grigoriev, as a Chair of the "Archimedes" International Jury, welcomed participants and guests of the Salon.

Over 1000 exhibits from 16 countries and 45 regions of Russia representing all spheres of scientific and technical activity were presented at the Salon "Archimedes". (the list of participants may be found at: http://www.archimedes.ru/ar_07_uchastniki.php).

March 29, 2007 was announced as the Day of the Eurasian Patent Organization. Guests and participants of the Salon had a chance to get acquainted with the Eurasian patent procedure, activity of the Patent Office and its information products.

Within the framework of the EAPO Day the EAPO organized a seminar with speeches and presentations made by EAPO specialists and hold a round table discussion with participation of EAPO officials and specialists. Along with that EAPO leading specialists gave consultations to visitors of the EAPO exhibition stand. Among the guests of the EAPO Day were inventors, patent attorneys, specialists in the field of innovations, representatives of industrial and business circles from over 50 organizations of Russia, Belarus, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Romania and Croatia. Over 60 participants were registered for the event.

For taking an active part in organization and holding of the Salon "Archimedes" EAPO was awarded with the Honorable Diploma by the Mayor of Moscow, Yury Luzhkov and with Diploma of Distinction and Gratitude from the organizers. EAPO President A.Grigoriev was awarded with the Honorific Diploma of the Supreme Court for Science and Technological Development of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova for fruitful collaboration between scientific communities of the Republic of Moldova and Russia.
