Republic of Moldova was party to the Eurasian Patent Convention from February 16, 1996 till April 26, 2012.

Starting from April 27, 2012, an Agreement is in force between Government of the Republic of Moldova and Eurasian Patent Organization on legal protection of inventions on the territory of the Republic of Moldova, after the denunciation by the Republic of Moldova of the Eurasian Patent Convention.
